Floor plans
Measured during the visit you’re already paying for
A floor plan doesn’t need its own appointment. If we’re at the property for an inventory or an EPC, we measure and draw it while we’re there.
Why they’re worth having
What a floor plan actually does for a letting
It reduces wasted viewings. Listings with a floor plan attract enquiries from people who already understand the layout — and save everyone else a journey.
It records room dimensions. Where a room’s size matters — minimum bedroom sizes, HMO licensing, or a question about what was advertised — a measured plan is a record rather than an estimate.
It supports licensing applications. HMO licence applications generally require a plan showing room sizes and layout. Having one already drawn removes a delay.
It documents the property. Layout, room labels and dimensions on a single page, useful for insurance, works planning and letting particulars alike.
